Kim and Nick had a beautiful fall day in NYC for their Engagement Session, hitting great spots like the West Village, Battery Park and Stone Street. For the second half of the session, Kim wore an exclusive, pre-launch piece by her Friends at M.M. LaFleur called the Etsuko. Kim looks AMAZING in the dress! You can see one of their photos featured in a promo for the fashion house here.
It’s not often that we have the opportunity of getting to know our couples for over 2 years before their wedding! Amanda & Joe were engaged on October 7, 2011. We were there and we’ve all been friends ever since! They are two of the most kind hearted and generous people you will ever meet- with so much love to share. This winter wedding began with a church ceremony followed by a classic evening affair at Westbury Manor. Their details were both elegant & fun! I absolutely love the grape colored bridesmaids dresses with red flowers- what a lovely color combination! One of my favorite things about this wedding were the magical wintery centerpieces created by Pedestals Floral Decorators which really set the mood for the night. In most weddings, the bride plans all the details, and the groom doesn’t have much say! I mean, boys will be boys, right? But this wedding was pretty evenly balanced- Joe made some decisions along the way! So there were some awesomely-fun details going on, such as the Mario & Peach Ice Sculpture- which for any Nintendo fan, this is amazing! As well as Xbox 360 cufflinks and a Mickey & Minnie Mouse Cake Topper- because of their love of all things Disney. It was an incredibly special day for these lovebirdsAnd we even had some time for romantic photos in the rain! How perfect!
We love working with the girls from Cheeky Details, and this wedding is no exception! They are an awesome team who can really pull any bride’s wildest fantasy together. They brought in very cool details for Hans and Crystal’s wedding in the gorgeous new room at the Fox Hollow, including a fun surprise for the desert display! We had a blast with Crystal and Hans who chose the stunning Old Westbury Gardens as the backdrop for their portraits.
We are swooning here over Melissa & Matt’s deSeversky Mansion wedding! Besides their gorgeous details, this couple is and always will be one of our favsIf you haven’t seen their NYC Engagement Photos, then you’re missing out! Oh are you in for a treat! These two cuties go together like milk and cookies (which they gave out at the end of the night for their guests!)– or better yet, like a hamburger and fries (his last name is Burger!). The Pearl River Hilton, provided amazing photo opportunities, from the venue’s iconic cloud painted dome, which was the perfect backdrop for this heavenly wedding, to stunning portraits in the woods. The inspiration you will get from this classic wedding is as contagious as the bride’s laugh… Enjoy!
Although we are truly, madly, deeply in love with all of our JBP couples, this particular wedding was incredibly special for us because we have been riding the love train with this couple since the very beginning. We were there to capture Matthew’s surprise proposal to Whitney in Penn Station, their magical engagement party at Villa Lombardi’s, Whitney’s sexy-chic bridal shower at The Hamlet Golf & Country Club, and now finally (one year to the day of Matthew’s proposal) their stunning wedding at Carlyle on the Green. Stunning is an understatement when it comes to this wedding. You all know how we feel about details, and this wedding has everything covered, from flowers by Pedestals to table decor, custom pajamas for all the ladies, etsy inspired details to the nth degree, and more… All stops were pulled for this magical day. Despite all of the splendor and sparkle, what really shines through in these wedding photos is the love this family has for each other. In fact, it has been made even stronger through Whitney’s and Matthew’s newly sanctified bond. Over the course of the past year we have become incredibly close with Whitney, Matthew, Brenda and Brian, and we couldn’t be more blessed by their friendship. It has been an incredible journey and we look forward to continue to work with Whitney and Matthew as they continue to grow as a family
